Marketing Programs Specialist

You’ll be working with a 23 year old technology company and will be involved with every facet of helping our company grow through the use of savvy marketing. This position works very closely with the other colleagues in the marketing department as well as all other departments.

The Marketing Programs Specialist will work within the marketing organization to develop, execute and drive innovative and effective integrated marketing programs and campaigns that generate new leads, and drives engagement, MQLs, opportunities, and eventually closed-won business.

This position will be responsible for owning, defining, and managing multiple simultaneous marketing programs and campaigns driving their success from inception through execution, and sustaining optimization. This position will collaborate with stakeholders to determine content, set campaign goals and metrics, select target and reach methods, utilize and/or develop the best offers, and work with internal teams to execute on plans and report on program success across the entire customer acquisition funnel from attraction, conversion and close.  

This Programs Marketing Specialist Position Will Require:

  1. Persuasive copywriting & messaging -  Must know how to write to take complex concepts and simplify the messaging, improve engagement and drive action around them.
  2. Digital Marketing -  Must be comfortable in all aspects of digital marketing including email campaign strategy, landing page conversion fundamentals, webinars, social media, video marketing, etc.
  3. Strategize and design landing page wireframes for each tool/program campaign as needed.
  4. Packaging - Create branding names and packages around tools and programs that make them more memorable and usable.
  5. Devise ads and advertising strategies for each tool program in various channels to increase adoption and conversion.
  6. Analysis - Measure and communicate the results you’ve generated weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

Who this position is for:

Someone who is analytical, curious, and interested in influencing others to grow: a growth hacker.  It is perfect for someone who is highly organized, results-focused and always asking “why” and “what if”.  This position must be very comfortable with the convergence of marketing and technology, and must be a good persuasive writer.

Who this position is not for:

This is not the right position for someone who wants to hang out at the water cooler all day or is closed to learning new ideas.  The learning curve is massive. This position is not for someone who enjoys talking over doing.  Finally, this position is not for someone who is scared of software and technology.


  • 4 year college degree is preferred
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience required
  • Digital marketing experience is required
  • Copywriting and advertising experience is required
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in the IT or telecom industry is a plus, but not required
